Almost everyone who once got into the situation losing the job is facing this question sooner or later. To agonizing doubting thoughts like "What are my strengths at all?" or "Did I act tough enough?" and "Did I position myself too badly?" etc. You often find no or only unsatisfactory answers. As a result, such considerations often lead to an, at least, temporary depressive phase, and the idea arises, that you must probably be a loser.

In former times dismissals were actually a blemish. In today's fast-moving times, dismissals are the order of the day. There are many reasons for this: Pressure to make savings, mergers, rationalisation, etc. In other words, it can affect everyone at all hierarchical levels. Having a secure job? That´s long ago…

You have to deal with the new situation; even when it hurts, you should be aware of the following: There is a chance in every change - and often the tide begins to turn. Do not let the “loser-thoughts” germinate at all (and do not let them persuade you at all). Take over control and use the opportunity to find the perfect job. If you heed this, you´re far away being a loser – you will become a winner!
